About The Vagina Monologues
Vagina Monologues by Eve Ensler
Eve Ensler’s award winning show “The Vagina Monologues” opens at Columbia Center for the Arts in Hood River on Thursday, June 3rd, 2010 at 8pm with a Ladies Night Only.
Vagina Monologues will also run June 4, 5, 6.
Helping Hands Against Violence will be partnering with Columbia Center for the Arts in this production.
This show has been translated into over 25 languages and is performed in theatres worldwide, including sold-out runs on Broadway and on London’s West End.
The world tour of The Vagina Monologues initiated V-Day, a global movement to stop violence against women. After many requests and ‘sold out’ houses in 2007, Director Judie Hanel will bring this exciting show to the Gorge for a second time. Debra Jones will be the producer.
Opening Night: Ladies Night
Ladies joining us on opening night will receive a special "ladies only" gift of a hand painted wine glass. Glasses are being painted by ladies in painting parties throughout the Gorge, in The Dalles, Hood River, and White Salmon. Each glass is unique! See the beautiful samples here ...
