Roles

Gerardo Exobar - Paulina's husband, a lawyer between the ages of 45 - 60. Gerardo has recently been appointed by the President to a commission that will examine human right sabuses during the military dictatorship.

Doctor Roberta Miranda - A doctor 45 - 60 who has given Excobar a ride home after his car broke down on a deserted road.

Paulina Solas - Gerardo's wife, 45 - 60. Paulina hears Miranda's voice and believes the voice to belong to the man that tortured her in captivity.

About the Play

This award-winning play features a charming rogue, Randolph McMurphy, who schemes to serve his short term sentence in a mental institution rather than a prison. His inevitable clash with the formidable head nurse reveals the humor and cost of standing up to authority, and the universal issues of human dignity and compassion. He leads a cast of inmates in this unforgettable battle of wits, most notably the (presumably) deaf and mute Native American, Chief Bromden, and the tragically vulnerable young man, Billy Bibbit.

Roles

The cast requires seven men, between the ages of 25 – 55, and three women, two of whom are between the ages of 25 – 35 and one between 40 – 50.
