Beauty, change and choice

Together we can!

Beauty, Change
and Choice

Together we can achieve balance and maintain the natural beauty of our changing world.

Join artists and local organizations for an art show about living lighter in our environment and propelling positive change.

Beauty. See the works of Oregon and Washington artists, whose art reflects the beauty that surrounds us … in woven stones; thoughtfully glazed ceramics; abstract oils painted on plaster; bamboo sculpture and clever collage. Click to learn about each of the featured artists:

Change. See a lobby display of a Schools- Out / Arts-In work-in-process art that uses naturally-found materials to create sculptural forms in an installation. This installation will please the eye and change right before you!

Choice. Learn how local High School students view the environment, in their installation of "Environmental Heroes." The installation features a giant, interactive "Rubik’s Cube" of choices where answers can only be found by working together to move the cube.

Artist Reception

Meet the artists when the show opens on Friday, April 3, from 6 - 8 at Columbia Center for the Arts.
