A fun way to enjoy the Oscars
Join us for a night of celebrating films and friends, and watch a live feed of the Hollywood Academy Awards Show!
Proceeds benefit CAST (the Columbia Center for the Arts theatre group)
Arrive early to the Art Center for a red carpet entrance from 4 to 5pm where you’ll be greeted by our local paparazzi and fashion police.
Dress in your best, worst, costume, or casual . . . there will sure to be a little of everything!
Who will take home the Oscars this year? We will have ballots to CAST your guesses and maybe YOU will be the lucky winner!
During commercial breaks enjoy drinks, light fare, a silent auction, and The Shedshakers’ live music in the Gallery.
This is a 21 and older event as beverages will be allowed in the Theatre.
Tickets are $5 each and all proceeds to benefit CAST productions.

The Shed Shakers have been playing the Columbia River Gorge since early 2010, bringing their high energy, fast pickin' progressive bluegrass-rock style to dance floors from Stevenson to The Dalles. Sharing vocals and a love for traditional bluegrass, they bring an eclectic mix of classic favorites and original flavor to the stage.

About CAST
CAST has a proud history of providing live theater for residents of the Columbia River Gorge. Founded as a grassroots effort in 1978, it offers a range of opportunities for people who are experienced performers, and for those who want to develop their skills.
At least four productions are planned by CAST each year: Winter (February), Spring (May), Summer (July/August) and Fall (October). New talent and new faces to assist in the creative process are always welcome. Please join us!
Silent Auction ... Cool Stuff!
The silent auction will include items like dinners, restaurant gift certificates, theatre tickets, and acting classes.

Our Programs Depend on You!
Fifty percent of the Art Center’s income comes from grants and local supporters and goes towards programs for the community including visual arts, performance arts, workshops and classes. This is a fun, collaborative, engaging way to support your local non-profit art center and encourage continued, and new, community support.
