What is First Friday?

Sponsored by the Hood River Downtown Business Association and Columbia Arts, First Friday offers a chance for locals and visitors to mingle in the casual and vibrant atmosphere of downtown Hood River, 5-8pm on the First Friday of every month between April and December

First Friday in Hood River is considered a local event that merges many varieties of art media and business offerings.

Shoes and watercolors, bikes and fused glass, dog treats and clay, yoga and dance, travel planning and photographs, kitchenware and live Swing music, the possibilities know no bounds.

This is indeed one of the unique qualities to Hood River’s version of an Art Walk, not only do our wonderful galleries host artists but so do 30-50 businesses each month April – December.
