A Play With Roots in Our Region

A Plays for Non Profits production, this play, based on the novel by Ken Kesey, explores the universal issues of human dignity and compassion —and what happens when free spirits are confined to a closed system: rules are about to be broken!

Set in the world of an authentic mental hospital in Salem, Oregon, the play features the unforgettable characters of nurse Ratched, Chief Bromdem, Randle McMurphy, and Billy Bibbit.

50% of the profits benefits Gorge area non-profit organizations including: SMART, The Next Door, FISH, and Columbia Center for the Arts.

Plein Air Writing Exhibition

Annual Plein Air Painting & Writing

Painting & Writing Outdoors


Plein Air Painters and Writers will be spending five days visiting some of the most visually remarkable sites in the Columbia River Gorge and putting their impressions in works of art and on paper.

Paint Out: Art work created during the 5 day "Paint Out" will be on display and available for sale at Columbia Art Gallery from Sept. 4 thru 27. Click to learn more about the Plein Air Paint Out.
