This film is part of the Columbia Center for the Arts Foreign Film Series, every fourth Wednesday.

Manuela, a single mother, loses her son in a tragic accident and flees to Barcelona where she discovers her past and a newfound bond with a group of remarkable women, including a pregnant nun. This Spanish film was originally released in 1999.

Troutlake Festival
 
Trout Lake Festival of the Arts

CALL TO ARTISTS -- Artists are invited to participate in the 13th Annual Trout Lake Fesitival of the Arts on July 19 and 20. The juried show will accept up to 45 artists in all mediums of two and three-D art. The Festival is held at The Farm, a B&B in the beautiful Trout Lake Valley at the base of Mt. Hood. IF WE ARE WOMEN -- Soroptimist International of Hood River partners with Columbia Center for the Arts to make this play possible. Judie Hanel to direct. Auditions will be held for four female roles on March 9 at 2 pm, and March 10 and 11 at 7 pm at Columbia Center for the Arts. Click here to learn more.

OFF THE MAP-- This offbeat evocative comedy has a compelling and lyrical quality, with characters stumbling into glimpses of self-discover and unexpected moments of grace. Ken McCarty to direct.
