There is a new show opening at CAST on July 19th– The Vagina Monologues. CAST is partnering with Soroptomists – Hood River.

Eve Ensler’s Obie Award winning play has been translated into over 25 languages and is performed in theatres worldwide, including sold-out runs on Broadway and on London’s West End. The world tour of The Vagina Monolgoues initiated V-Day, a global movement to stop violence against women. Ms. Ensler was the recipient of the Guggenheim Fellowship in Playwriting in 1999 for this award winning show.

Judie Hanel is thrilled to be directing this show and she and her Production co-ordinators, Maureen Higgins and JoAnn Harris are asking Women in Business in the Gorge to consider sponsoring this important show. Your name would be mentioned in any and all publicity that goes out for this show, which includes the poster, program, newspaper advertising, recognition on Opening night of the show on July 19th,Arts in the Gorge newsletter and the Columbia Arts website.
