Columbia Art Gallery in Hood River announces “Pushing the Boundaries,” featuring unconventional art that stretches the imagination. The public is invited to the artist reception on Friday, March 2, from 6-8 p.m. The show continues through April 1.

April Verch is a vibrant performer infusing pure energy into her fiddle playing and stepdancing. Best known for her fiddling, singing and stepdancing to tunes from her Ottawa Valley home in Canada, she has a wide musical palette of French Canadian, bluegrass and Appalachian styles.
April will be performing and giving workshops in both fiddle playing and stepdancing.
