The Trout Lake Arts Council invites artists to participate in the 12th Annual Trout Lake Festival of the Arts on July 21 and 22, 2007. The juried show will accept up to 45 artists in all mediums of two and three dimensional art. The art will be judged on its quality and creativity. The Arts Council is committed to quality marketing in the Gorge area and the Portland-Vancouver market

The Festival is held at The Farm, a B&B in the beautiful Trout Lake Valley at the base of Mt. Adams. The rustic barn, shaded lawns, flowering garden and beautiful views make this a perfect place to showcase art.

The Trout Lake Arts Festival features live music all day, a hands-on children’s program, and outstanding local food and drink. There is no admission fee and plenty of free parking. Three thousand visitors are anticipated.

Unique to the Festival is an “Artist’s Collaboration” which pairs artists together to create work that is mutually inspired. All areas of creativity will be represented including the visual arts, performance art, and writers. The results of the collaborations will be displayed during the Festival and at the White Salmon library for the month of August.
