Learn the craft of acting or take your skills to a whole new level! Using improvisation, exercises, and rehearsal on scenes, this class will expand your imagination, increase your comfort level, and make you a more compelling presence on stage. Nothing required but an open mind. Class limit: 10.

  Play Reading Group
 


Plays are meant to be shared -- to be spoken and
to be heard.

That’s exactly what we’ll do: read great plays out loud together, and share our thoughts about them. Instructor will facilitate discussions. Class offers would-be writers and actors a chance to get more familiar with the form—and audience members a peak behind the curtain. Class limit: 15.

  Improve & Physical Theatre Workshop
 


Althea Hukari joins improvisational comedy troupe, Perpetual Commotion, for a full day theatre workshop.

Learn basic improvisational theater skills and open scene framework. Emphasis will be on physical theatricality. Free your body, and your mind will follow. Participation is inevitable. No experience is required. Class culminates in a free open showing of student work at 6 p.m. Class limit: 15.
