Portland, OR. They may be known as man’s best friend, but a new book is proving that there’s no gender divide when it comes to our furry friends.
Reading Woman’s Best Friend, you’ll enter the furry, funny, and sometimes frustrating world of the dog mom. From a dachshund who takes up residence in the family car to a keeshound who knows her owner is pregnant even before she does, to the pooch born for Hollywood fame and all of the other colorful personalities in between, the 26 writers capture the special bond between women and their dogs with stunning poignancy and laugh-out-loud humor.
It will be raining dogs, dogs, dogs at Columbia Center for the Arts on Wednesday, Nov. 8th at 7 pm when Megan McMorris comes to Hood River do a reading from her new book. Don’t miss this opportunity to meet Megan and listen to the essays from her book.
